In the past, you suffered an intense rejection that broke your heart. You moved away from this rapidly and you were grateful for the opportunity to do so because the relationship or partnership was misaligned for you. It was pulling you away from your dreams, your happiness, and your success.

You knew that you needed to clear the heartache of the past to move forward with your life in the present, so you chose to be solitary and went inward in order to heal any lingering disappointments and create a better outlook. If you look closely at the Five of Cups, you’ll see that the person is focused on the three cups that are spilled on the ground.

With the Page of Pentacles clarifying the Five of Cups, it seems like the offer being presented was from someone immature which reinforces the earlier message that this entire situation was completely misaligned for you. And yet, you’ve been stuck in your head about it, feeling rejected. For some of you, the relationship may have involved a child, but that’s not for all of you.

Here’s the thing - if this figure in the Five of Cups were to turn around, they’d see that all is not lost: Two cups are still upright, and in the distance there is a bridge that leads to a castle. Once you turn around and see all is not lost, your perspective adjusts and everything changes along with it. Making a decision to walk into the future, away from this battle energy, knowing when to set down your weapons and leave the battlefield, when to cut your losses and move on, leads to an awakening and infinite abundance.
