The removal of farmland is scripted obviously. This is so pointed especially with the Fake Meats that are on the market. The lab food is the replacement for the masses. The critical point to recognize is much of that food talks about it is great for climate change. However, there is no mention of the nutritional value to the human. It is quite reprehensible.

If the point of a compass was centered on Fresno California, and a 100 mile radius was drawn, the circle formed would reach across the most vital and productive growing region in the world. Although this 100 mile circle covers less than 1% of the total landmass of the United States, it produces nearly 1/2 of its fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts – more than 250 different crops rich in vitamins and nutrients essential to human survival.

I live on a farm within this region, and this last year much of the oranges were left on the ground to rot. When you drive along the coast on the 101 near Salinas you see a lot empty farmland covered with dirt which used to be full of crops!

Bill gates buying farm land so it stops producing? He’s been actively buying up farming land in Queensland and out bidding by a million to get pass opposition. Land banking to control food production?

i’m not sure if Bill Gates is involved with purchasing the farmland surrounding Fresno. I do know the Chinese pretty much owns all of it. Most of the best almonds are shipped to China. But we know Bill Gates is in cahoots with China. They systematically created food scarcity. This started in California a few decades ago when liberal politicians (and conservatives didn't stop it) screamed about a non indigenous fish they say farming was destroying them, causing them to become extinct. So much needed water was denied to farmers, causing many of them to go bankrupt. Well, we know now who purchased all that land.

He's been buying it up in other places for sure. I wouldn't be surprised it if were also happening in the Fresno area, but it seems more like multiple interests are tag teaming a buy up of any useful farmland. The goal is always to acquire a monopoly.

I can’t post a photo here but I shared it in Notes. Showing how much foreign interest has bought up much of the American farmland in the United States. You wonder what entity these people answer to as they do their tag teaming. That’s a perfect description! BTW, I am still reading through this post. But I had to comment before I even began reading it. Lol! Thank you so much for the mention! Great stuff here! I’m not sure how do you put all this together!

Thank you so much!! I put a couple other graphics in beneath yours so you will have them as well. It seems like something we should be exploring in a lot more detail so that we know which areas are secure and which to avoid.

Russia looks good! 👍 I’m surprised Mexico imports much produce. At the end of the day we don’t need money and gold, we need food! 🍔🌭🌮🌯🥙🥗🥪🍕

Thanks for the mention! I’m thankful for your insight and positivity. As to the vanishing farmland, me and my two sons are actively looking for some land to farm in a sustainable fashion. We’ll have livestock as well as a number of greenhouses to use vertical hydroponics and low energy LED solar powered grow lights to produce fruits and vegetables.

We’re not rich, but this is something we can do. We’re also not farmers, but we have a goal of creating a lasting homestead for our families.

In his marvelous 1968 film "The Producers" screenwriter, actor, and director Mel Brooks has Zero Mostel's character, Max Bialystock, shout out the window of his office at the Rolls Royce limousine across the street, "Flaunt it baby, flaunt it!"

The remake doesn't have this line, iirc, and it definitely elided the Brooklyn house wife bemoaning the playwright's "dirty filthy steenking boids." Much that is good in the world has been hidden from plain view. I blame the karenina.

Tired, back in a teaching position except this time I have 200 or so students, so a lot more work. Haha. Somehow I’ve still found time to write, read and prep for classes…. so pretty good all things considered.

I’m really glad though that you’re well Demi.

I thought so too. And so many were writing about it simultaneously that I thought merging the info was important for context so we could all get a chance to see the bigger picture and think about what it means in terms of impact and preparation.

Hope you're having a great Saturday! :)

Absolutely. In theory, I really like the idea of buying a small farm. But, I'd love to relocate at some point and I'm so focused on travel and backpacking that I don't think it would be a good move for me. This really emphasizes the importance of supporting those farms, though!

Absolutely! No matter if you choose to put down roots or become more nomadic, we need people who are focused on food security, especially those who are cultivating organic food sources utilizing great practices. So important!
