California On Fire….
Great summary, Stone Bryson.
I’m seeing A LOT of weirdness connected to this - and some really oddball “coincidences” that cannot go without note - but I used to live there, so in the past 24 hours, I’ve been mostly consumed with wondering why people - people I care about but also people I don’t even know - have chosen to stay put literally surrounded on all sides by fire instead of evacuating.
There’s something bizarre about California that makes people codependent on the place itself, something that makes leaving California as difficult as it is to leave a domestic abuser.
“The dream” of “making it” in California, even to one’s own detriment when one could just as easily be a creative anywhere else in the world with even more resources and opportunities available, might as well be a heroin addiction.
The mental gymnastics it takes just to stay put absolutely blows my mind.
It’s my pleasure, Stone Bryson.
Not many people will ever own up to being happy they left California, but I see it as one of the best things that ever happened to me, a time when I came to grips with a deep understanding that this land of groupthink, brainwashing, neurolinguistic programming, and gaslighting was not and would never be my home.
I couldn’t be more grateful for the wake up call.
I can’t even imagine what I would be dealing with right now had I chosen to stuff my intuition down, dig my heels into “the dream” - whatever the hell THAT is - and stay.
Calizuela is on a particular path toward a particular timeline.
Until the four family mafia is ousted, nothing will change.
They haven’t even updated their grid in 75+ years and people just deal with the brown outs and black outs.
No one changes anything, no one will even consider leaving, and if you suggest those in power might be corrupt, the residents gaslight and NLP you until you either capitulate to the brainwashing or completely cut contact.
“You don’t really feel that way… do you?! You know those ideas are dangerous… don’t you?!” Direct quote.
On top of that, they just raised taxes. Again.
For such a beautiful place, it’s a total mess.
I lived in Santa Monica, WeHo, and the Valley years ago. Worked in Hollywood. It’s painful to watch it burn.
And the WTC was basically my back yard. I spent time there most nights with my friends.
If you were to lay down on the ground there at night when no one was around and you lined up your feet with one of the buildings, it looked like a walkway into space.
That was one of my favorite hang outs when I lived around the block from it during film school.
Watching it fall felt like this feels.
And I tend to process grief through humor.
So, that’s where I’m at.
I have no apologies for Judgy McJudgypants. 🤣🙏🏻💜💫
I hope everyone is ok.
I hope people recognize that their lives are more important than their belongings or their sentimental notions and they choose to leave instead of risking it.
I hope people choose to circumvent the people who are keeping their hands tied and take steps toward fixing the problem without permission from the people who are actively trying to kill them.
And I hope people realize that some pipe corrosion and dead foliage is worth keeping people alive, stopping the fires, and getting to the point where healing and rebuilding is possible. 🙏🏻💜💫
Each time it happened, I no longer lived there. But watching your memories go up in smoke… oof.
It doesn’t compare to people losing their homes, but there is a deep empathy there and a sentimental pain attached to knowing when you go back to see it again it will never be the same, even if I have no intention of ever returning to live there. And if I don’t keep my humor on deck, my mind will go to places I don’t want it going. So, I do what works best for me. And hopefully it will help others who deal with it that way too.
I also have a lot of people who are still there right now, and the majority of them seem not to want to wrap their heads around leaving and then returning after the danger is gone.
I liken this to what I have to deal with in terms of hurricanes each season. If you’re in the cone, you leave and return. You do not risk your safety.
But some people will make excuses to stay, and this often causes psychological harm that they never really get over, if not, physical injury. We see it in the aftermath every time. It’s not worth it.
Thank you. I’m so glad they’re ok.
Absolutely. Well said. 🙏🏻❤️
It’s terrible behavior. And I will not reward it by taking up less space in the way I express my own pain. I transmute pain through humor. I make light of it to give myself and everyone else the opportunity to discuss something difficult that we otherwise would not feel able to discuss, especially not so soon.
Offense is not entitlement.
And, if we’re thinking in terms of bullshit mainstream distinctions that everyone can wrap their heads around in a tidy bow, the behavior is still WOKE even if it comes from someone ostensibly “on the right.”
Both “sides” virtue signal.
One just hides behind science and progress to do it while the other hides behind tradition and God.
It’s the same reprehensible behavior either way.

From Kobalevsky 42:
I’m so sick of people taking exception to people’s losses just because they happen to have money.
The majority of people who live in the LA area do so on slave wages, 8 to a tiny apartment that they pay exorbitant fees to live in, mainly because they think they NEED to be there in order to make their dreams happen.
Not that that matters one bit.
Just because someone happens to be in a different tax bracket from you doesn’t make that person less human.
People are about their character and integrity, not their wallets or their assets.
Remember yourselves.
Who raised you?
Grow some compassion and humility.
“Poor little rich girl?”
She lost her HOME.
And she’s one of your OWN - with character and integrity, working hard every day to expose the truth just like you.
Show some respect.
This is exactly it.
Everyone gets lessons and blessings from the universe for their highest good, and if they receive the lessons properly, they transmute the lessons into wisdom, and that wisdom becomes the residual blessing left over from dealing with a challenging experience.
It’s universal law, it’s how God made the universe to work, and it’s all built into a system of balance.
It happens automatically and does not require anyone else to do anything - in fact, if they do, they tend to receive their own lessons for doing so.
And once you see through that system and extricate yourself from it, you no longer have to keep learning that lesson on repeat because you will have realized that you yourself are controlling your own experience and that ceasing to do so is very simple - you choose to stop.
This is what the monks have always referred to as “detachment.” Stop embroiling yourself in the human psychodrama, see past it, opt out, and move on.
We’re human, so no one is perfect at this, but it’s enough to realize what this is and to let go.
Lack of attachment will release you from the wheel because you cannot be compelled to return through aesthetic traps or tricks of sentiment.
You can simply choose to move on.
Exactly. It’s very simple. Do no harm and take no shit.
Acting in self-defense or out of self-protection is built into universal law.
If someone harms you, you have every right to defend yourself.
But inflicting pain on another intentionally or wishing ill upon another are literally forms of black magic.
We don’t think of these as such because we think of them as ordinary mundane actions but the frequency they carry is that of black magic because of the dark intentions.
It’s also pushing one’s will upon another without their consent.
These actions have consequences.
Ironically, hoping that someone will receive consequences brings consequences upon you.
The lessons and blessings are built in for each of us to learn what we need to know and to be rewarded by the universe for having done so.
They require no help from us other than for each of us, ideally, to remain growth-focused.
It’s very odd when people try to use it as some kind of threat, thinking it does not apply to them.
It’s built into the creation and applies to us all.
It’s just the way the creator made it work.
Which means it’s already working exactly as intended on a grand scale and requires no intervention from us.
Wishing “karma” upon someone else will bring that “karma” right back to you.
Funny how that works.

Little Lord Fauntleroy and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Temper Tantrum
People genuinely wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Which isn’t terrible as far as human inclinations go - wanting to trust is a good thing.
But not when it flies in the face of self-preservation or protection of sovereignty against one’s better judgment.
And that’s exactly what this is.
People wanted to believe the self-centered shitposting closet globalist had their best interests at heart when his true MO is to blow smoke up everyone’s asses and then do whatever he wants to do anyway.
He’s an INTJ who throws massive temper tantrums when he doesn’t get his own way.
When someone shows you their true colors, believe them.
You’ve been manipulated into trusting someone you shouldn’t have, someone who will seem to turn on a dime to betray you because you mistakenly thought he had your best interests at heart when he never did.
He is only out for himself, and the sooner you realize that, the better off you’ll be.
Shit - let’s be real: This is like talking half the country down from a relationship with a narcissistic domestic abuser.
Fine. It is what it is.
Take the L, take the lesson as a blessing of wisdom, heal from having your trust broken, and switch gears.
