Ah great. I was in need of a meme dump for insta inspiration. I’m already hated and shadow banned there so some of these gems will be a great addition to the meta collection 🙌🏼👏🔥

“Not everyone dreams of a house with a white picket fence”

The goal is to separate us from our designer. Jealousy is a bad character trait.

Wow that video for Digging in the Dirt 'packs a punch' (lol, unintended pun) ... don't know how I missed that one on MTV! Thank you for the dive into some music I've never heard too!

One of his best, for sure - and a personal favorite!! <3

If you dig his music, look up the album he did with New Blood Orchestra. It's phenomenal.

The one about finding yourself fits really well with my first post that I will be posting tomorrow.

There might be a bit of *yoink* in the near future.

Thanks for the post.

"It was real" is an important reminder. This gets discussed a lot in various social media, and most of the younger commenters dismiss it as nonsense. The official stats, which are always fake, don't show it. I remember it clearly. In 1970, earning just over minimum wage, I was able to support a wife and child and a drivable car and rented house. We could eat out and travel sometimes.

I like your seemingly paradoxical mixture of agency ("work hard to materialize your desires') and non-agency ("don't steal Gods pen") - in other words - free will vs determinism/fate/universe unfolding. This is a topic I wrote a lot about and still try to get my head around. I am currently zooming in on the theory, that "free will" is only possible in full awareness of a given situation - in other words, almost never for most people. The rest of the time it is a soup of social and cultural conditioning, habit, kharma and universal determinism that determine outcomes. On the other side of the spectrum, only the fully realized have free will all the times.
