Every morning "Buddy" the Herron drops by to eat the cicadas that dropped dead during the night and landed on the ground beside a gigantic tree in my son's yard. Buddy keeps the yard clean of cicada shells, and he's a beautiful sight in the morning sun. So far there seems to be no shortage of cicadas.
