If you claim to be an expert at something, you likely have an agenda, whether you believe it or not. You will always be using your presumed title of "expert" to market something. Your self, your product, your service, your ideas, your beliefs...or even your tyranny and terrorism.

The world is full of experts though, pretty much everyone who has worked in an industry their whole life is some kind of expert. I'm an expert in construction. I constantly demur to the expertise of other guys who have different specialties.

The problem is that the 'expert' has been co-opted by the political class. It lets them make arguments from authority while shielding them from the responsibility of having done so.

The problem isn't with experts, it's with the use of them as a cat's paw to wield power. The same principle occurs everywhere. If a field/person/institution is a conduit for power it will become corrupted and stupid as it's purpose is bent to serve that power.

That's why the feeling you have for 'experts' is the same one you have for 'the media' or 'universities'. The same thing has happened to all of them. It's a symptom of the fact that power has to mask itself in western societies because we haven't integrated our shadow and can't deal with it so we have to hide it behind all these different things.

That's funny, I just wrote a rant yesterday about people who feel the need to make their advanced degree be part of their name. I guess they have yet to realize that college is where you go extremely deep onto debt, and work your sorry ass off, in order to be one the elite brainwashed.

Course, what the "experts" meme said (IMO) was, "No mistakes were made. They lied exactly as instructed."

Powerful stuff as usual. Love the Dude, o' course, and the mermaid. Thought the "two wolves" was genius. Hard to not like anything, tho I do wonder if it's all not too much. Guess as long as you're having fun doing it that's all that matters...

I have fun with it. I'd have done it anyway. This way makes it more fun because I can kind of create a flow and a story to them. :)

That's what I was hoping for. Hope you get time to stretch your legs, though. This seems time-consuming and bent legs nix good for hips 'N' joints...8^)

This wonderful collection made me realize how much I miss the frog Pepe.

"frog" is a funny word. Frawg. And I'm sober, I swear.

OK, sort of.

You funny lady Miss Ann!

I have that same experience quite often.

Common words strike me as weird. Sober or not!🤪

Stay Weird Ann. 😁
