What I'm Watching: Language Is The Battlefield by Asha Logos
"We've been on a steady diet of poison for decades, and the best way to excise this poison is to pull back and examine our clarity of thought and expression."
I’d like to share another video by Asha Logos that provides a concise framework for understanding the ways in which our language has been subverted to create slippery slope patterns that chip away at meaning over time in an attempt to separate us from our ability to engage in rational, clear communication with one another, eroding the foundations of our civilization. Please be sure to check out the rest of the videos on his channel, including the series Conspiracy? Our Subverted History.
Language Is The Battlefield. “Nations survive and thrive when they're able to communicate clearly and honestly, and they can just as easily fall to pieces when dishonest actors pollute or confuse language as a means of obtaining their ends. We're swiftly reaching a point in which the two sides of the ideological fence can hold nearly polar opposite definitions of the exact same words or concepts... a point in which true communication becomes impossible, and the prospect of very real violence looms on the horizon. The men who built this nation took great pains to establish order and structure, institutions and codes of conduct that allow for harmony and balance. Many take it for granted that peaceful civilization is simply how things are, forgetting the courage, devotion, and intellectual energy required to create and maintain such a state of being. The more we turn our backs on their collective wisdom and rush to embrace a modernist viewpoint that stands at odds with the entirety of human history, the closer we stumble to a complete societal breakdown, and the law of the jungle. This video explains why clarity of thought and speech may be the key to diffusing this time bomb, and how accurate communication is the best means of countering those forces seeking to destroy the foundational concepts behind western civilization. Over recent decades, our language evolution has been guided down a path in which several concepts once universally viewed as net-negatives are now portrayed as the highest moral virtues. I reject this, and the absurd opinion that kindness is always synonymous with weakness: oft times the highest and most far-sighted kindness is a firm hand. Tolerance of harmful behavior in a community is essentially valuing strangers (or your own reputation) above your own children and successive generations. This strikes me as lunacy, and I believe manipulative language pollution is the main culprit. We're all complicit to some degree. We're herd-like creatures, and look to prevailing cultural norms to teach us how to think, act, speak. This allows media to mold and shape us, even to the point of denying our true nature, and embracing chaos. To those that think this may be a purely organic happening, I urge you to look into 'Tavistock', Edward Bernays, and examine the political/ideological/cultural background of all major writers and directors, media moguls, and those teams of 'agents' and publicists who act as handlers for nearly every celebrity in the public eye. We're being reprogrammed, with intent, on a meta level. We've been on a steady diet of poison for decades, and the best way to excise this poison is to pull back and examine our clarity of thought and expression. Language is the battlefield on which this culture war will be decided. Be *vigilant*.”
I recall correctly, you wrote something about how the term organic is bullshit, or something along those means.
